Chandigarh Police is clueless in a case where a
girl's picture was morphed and many persons including her were sent
copy of those indecent pictures. The computer used to commit this crime
belonged to some Internet Cyber Cafe, which in the absence of any
visitor's records... have brought the investigation to
dead-end.
The act violates section 67 of IT Act, i.e.
"Transmitting of information in obscene form". And it has again raised
the question for enforcement of compulsory maintainenece of records by
Cyber Cafes like the "Cyber Cafe Regulations" which have been enforced
in the State of Karnataka only.
