18 year old Blake Ranking caused a fatal crash in Octobter 2004, when he made the car to somersault off the road, which was supposed to be a prank but caused his friend's death and other friend inside was seriously injured. They incident happened while they were retunring from a party and all were under the influence of  alcohal. Blake worte on his Blog that "I did it" three days after the crash, though he had previously told investigators he remebered nothing of the crash.

Blog read:
"It was me who caused it. I turned the wheel. I turned the wheel that sent us off the road, into the concrete drain ..." Ranking wrote in the blog. "How can I be fine when everyone else is so messed up?"

Ranking later deleting the above from the blog and posted an explanation.

"People say I 'contradict' myself since I 'already admitting pulling the wheel.' I didn't 'ADMIT' anything. I went on a guilt trip, and I posted the story that I WAS TOLD . . . Nicole told me I pulled the wheel, I believed her," he wrote.

This week on Monday, Blake admitted manslaughter charges, which is punishable upto 15 years imprisonment. Though otherwise also confession @ Blog was always available as evidence and the proceedings included many of the statements made at the blog regarding the incident like the comments made regaring his friend and friend's family and his overalli nsensitive attitude towards the whole incident.

The final judgement will be given on 28th December.
