Associate professor Chen Tangfa, from the School of Journalism at Nanjing University, when he searched through the web found a blog diary full of insults towards him at www.Blogcn.com, he contacted Blogcn.com's customer service department and asked to remove offending Blog, but the Customer Care said they don't have a right to delete user's blog. Therefore, the professor has sued the website for infringement of personal reputation.

"We have posted a notice on our website warning our users that several kinds of things are forbidden, including reactionary and humiliating notices, but it all depends on those bloggers' self-discipline," according to a worker with Blogcn surnamed Sun.

The case will be heard at Nanjing Intermediate People's Court next month.
